Goal One focuses on how business-education partnerships influence high school student course-taking.
Goal Two focuses on student-level outcome data. This data is of paramount importance to states and districts to understand the difficult data-gathering and utilization questions that are left unanswered by other programs.
Goal Three focuses on perception data collected with surveys developed by NCHEMS to measure the impact of SSI on the attitudes, perceptions, and beliefs of students, teachers, parents, guidance counselors, and businesspeople with regard to the importance of rigorous course-taking in high school and its effect on postsecondary and occupational outcomes.
