In past newsletters we've focused on the fantastic work done by our state partnerships and our advisory council, as well as on research and trends in education. But we've only touched briefly on the State Scholars Initiative's reason for being: the students it works with and serves. This month we profile 16 Scholars living in small towns and big cities, from Utah to New Hampshire, Wyoming to Arkansas. These bright young men and women have big dreams - and they're not afraid of the hard work it takes to achieve them. All acknowledge that SSI has played a major role in getting them closer to their goals. We're proud to devote this month's newsletter to these remarkable Scholars.
